I rather like the new song "Say Yes. It features cutie pie Jason Walker singing and dancing through the streets and subways of New York City, gaily wearing a silver glitter jacket that would embarrass a teenage girl. He is also holding a bunch of gold balloons. I know, it sounds sooooo gay. But the song, co-written (with Mike Greenly) and produced by two-time Grammy nominee Tony Moran, is very good, and so is the vibrant video.
“Mike and I were inspired to write the song from all the wedding ceremonies we’ve each been attending since the supreme court legalized same-sex marriage,” explains Moran. “It’s made us reflect on the power of saying yes and how that simple three letter word can move mountains, promote progress and change life as we know it.”
Both Tony and Jason collaborated earlier this year on "So Happy," a bouncy single with a video shot by Karl Giant on the salt flats of Utah. Jason looks way cuter in the new video, but what’s with the squint? You can hardly see his eyes. He does run around a lot, dragging those stupid balloons with him the whole time and surprisingly, no one tries to beat him up. These guys are making New York look like fun again.
