The LGBTQ Youth Initiative has launched a new campaign, Send The Right Message, aimed at encouraging straight and cisgender youth to challenge every day instances of homophobia, biphobia and transphobia. Their website covers topics such as "Privilege 101," "LGBTQ Identities," "Homo/Trans/Bi-phobia," "Allyship," "Coming Out" and even a section on what do when you're the one that messes up. Students, teachers and organizations can help by ordering any of their free campaign materials that can be placed at your school, work or organization.
The official launch of Send The Right Message! is happens at Buddies In Bad Times Theatre later this month with performances by Thoko Masikini, Robbie Ahmed, Vale, Queen McPhee, Cass Noelle, Heyishi Zhang, Tyler J Sloane and Xéynamay Ayana.
