Come Together: LGBT+ Philanthropy Summit 16 March 2018.
Program details are now available for the Come Together: LGBT+ Philanthropy Summit taking place on Wednesday, April 11 and Thursday, April 12 at The 519.
The fourth edition of the summit, organized by the LGBT Giving Network, promises to be a unique networking and education event aimed at exploring the role of non-profit leaders in building a culture of philanthropy within their organizations.
The conference is geared towards staff and volunteers specializing in fundraising development, programming and communication, board members, executive directors, professionals involved with corporate giving and foundations, and those who believe in building strong organizations that serve the LGBT+ community. The Board Role in Philanthropy session is a special 2-hour evening workshop designed specifically for board members presented by non-profit expert Cathy Mann.
Presenters include representatives from TD Bank, Ontario Trillium Foundation, Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, London School of Economics, Inside Out plus leading non-profit professionals and consultants. Early bird prices are in effect until Tuesday, March 20, however there is a summit subsidy to help offset the costs of attendance of up to $500 plus complimentary Summit registration.
