Fetish Fashion Show & Party
Taking a page from current literary trends like Fifty Shades of Grey, and the chronicles of Gor, Northbound Leather, takes audiences on a journey, turning written literary fantasies into live erotic fantasies at DREAM, the 16th annual Fetish Fashion Show & Party on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Sound Academy.
Northbound Leather’s Fetish Fashion Show & Party is recognized as the world’s largest fetish event. The first large scale party was held in 1979 at The St. Lawrence Centre in Toronto and continued to become an annual fashion fetish party every fall in Toronto that now draws an audience of 3000 - 5000. The first fashion show was presented in 1988 and the success of that event spawned monthly fetish parties, originally called The Betty Page Social Club, that continue to this day.
DREAM features a team of sexy models, including Heavyweight Boxing Champion of Canada Ray Olubowale and competitive fitness model Helen Petras, wearing an array of original and one of a kind, leather, latex, rubber and chain mail apparel and accessories.
The fashion show is set in a bookstore where Dew Lily from Boylesque, takes the audience on a journey through various literary trends, discovering different fantasies in every book that he opens, including inspiration from Shakespeare and Spartacus. These fantasies come alive in displays of role playing and erotic fashion.
