WOOFSTOCK® Expands to Woodbine Park

WOOFSTOCK is now entering its 11th year (that’s 77 in dog years!).

WOOFSTOCK launching the two-day festival is the ever-popular CELEBRITY DOGGIE HIGH TEA on May 10 at 2pm  at the Fairmont Royal York’s historic Imperial Room where dogs are royalty and treated to their very own High Tea. The puparazzi are on standby with rumours of celebrity look-alikes on the red carpet such as Mayor Dog Ford and his best buddy Jimmy Kibble, Andy Warhowl, Benedict Cumberpooch, and Woofus Wainwright!

Admission to the Celebrity High Tea is a $10 donation to the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA), a cause that goes paw in paw with WOOFSTOCK. Visit for more details and to register for the Celebrity Doggie High Tea.

After a decade of doggy love on Front Street, WOOFSTOCK is moving, and doubling in size, to Woodbine Park in The Beaches, at Lake Shore Boulevard East and Coxwell Avenue. Hanging on to the classics such as the Woofstock Fashion Show, Mr. And Ms. Canine Canada Pageant, and the Running of the Pugs, WOOFSTOCK is taking advantage of the new locale by adding a new dog show from the Ultimutts called Cirque Du Canine and a Doggy Kissing Booth, as well as creating an off-leash play area called Dogs Open Toronto, an homage to the famous Toronto festival, Doors Open, taking place the same weekend.

With over 5.2 million dog treats woofed down, WOOFSTOCK is North America’s largest festival for dogs and has become a household noun amongst Canadians as the largest one-stop shopping extravaganza for their four-footed friends. Now in it’s second decade, WOOFSTOCK has hosted over 3,000 one-of-a-kind exhibitors from across the continent offering the latest trends in pooch products from couture clothing to health supplements–everything needed to survive in a dog eat dog world!
