REALNESS: THE DRAG BALL is the first large-scale event produced by Kaleidoscopic Productions. It is a celebration of drag featuring performances by ten of Toronto’s finest drag queens – Alisha Van Horne, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Donnarama, Farra N. Hyte, Heaven Lee Hytes, Jada Hudson, Michelle Ross, Miss Conception, Scarlett Bobo & Sofonda Cox. Special guest DJ, RuPaul’s Drag Race Season Three alumni, MIMI IMFURST will spin dance music throughout the evening. The night’s theme is: #FantasyIsTheNewReality and attendees are also encouraged to get their drag on!
This is the first of many drag events from Kaleidoscopic Productions to celebrate all forms of drag and to elevate the art of drag using superior venues that showcase these performers. Michael Lamore-Robins believes that every drag queen deserves a big stage, amazing lighting and fabulous sound to enhance their already sickening performances. The Opera House has been home to many queer events in the past and Lamore-Robins is happy to continue this tradition and hopes to bring more fabulousness to the queer community in the Queen East/Riverdale/Leslieville area.
