NEVER OUT OF STYLE

At the height of summer, home design retailers start to roll out their fall lines much like their fashion-industry counterparts.  This is a great time to purchase some clearance and greatly reduced items for next season.  If you have to room to store, I encourage you to take advantage of some great deals, even if you buy something that you only use for the rest of this summer.

Do not spend a lot of money on seasonal or fad items.  Pieces that might only be trendy for a year or two aren’t worth a hefty investment.  Instead, I would encourage you to drop the dough on quality classic items that will never go out of style and will last a long time.  Good examples would be simple stemware, dishes, furniture, etc.  A few years ago the craze was martini glasses with colors, lights, and funky stems.  But a quality straight and simple martini glass will never go out of style.

Now is the time to go get those cheaper must-have trendy items because the deals are too good to pass up.  Take advantage of the fact that retailers are practically giving stuff away, and enjoy the rest of your summer season!
